This is a follow up of: https://www.joomlart.com/forums/d/15914-template-and-k2-gets-messed-up-after-update/135

The remaining issue is about the k2 articles not saving properly on all three sites. I do have other websites on the same server, and they are working fine.

When I hit the save button from the admin, it just loads and loads untill the site crashes, or it takes a few minutes to save.

I am running PHP 7.1 and all Joomla requirements are met.

Please help me out. Thx!

starlight Having reviewed, I am unable to replicate any such issue and K2 items are saving fine as envisaged after making some edits. Ref: Screenshot

The same appeared fine for my colleague also here

aman204 Can you please try a longer article, such as "Islam: Den naturlige religionen"

Having tried with the specific K2 item, Could get this error as seen in screenshot for which you can try the suggestions provided here and check with your hosting provider. Also, You may wish to review this thread for troubleshooting purposes

aman204 In the link the admin say "It seems that you have exceed your MySQL limits."

Does that mean I have to tell my host to change the MySQL limit?

starlight Does that mean I have to tell my host to change the MySQL limit?

Yes as the specific error also portrays that it relates to MySQL limit getting exhausted

aman204 Tried to increase PHP memory size to 8 GB but did not help. Do you know name of exact parameter to change?

This is what happened after I clicked the save on the same article we tried earlier:

Probably, this can help. You may try to disable cloudflare to see if it helps. I suspect such error relates to hosting server

aman204 I have paused cloadflare now, and tried to save. The item got saved, but it took several minutes. Do you still refer to the same article for further fixing of the problem or is it some other problem now since the article did get saved, but took several minutes in stead of a few seconds?

As suggested, You may get in touch with hosting provider as earlier error also related to MySQL limit getting exhausted so, the relative issue narrows down probably to hosting parameters/requirements not sufficient

aman204 Just so I don't misunderstand: The article related to cloadflare is no longer relevant because the problem is there even when cloadflare is disabled, right? And you think there are some parameters in the hosting that is causing saving-time to be extreme long on 3 spesific websites where I am using Kranos, but not on any other site I have on the same hosting?

Being reiterated again, Mysql limit getting exhausted does not pertain to error originating from template in this instance. To troubleshoot, You may kindly change to default template and the specific error could still persist

Your hosting provider will be able to help more conveniently with this
