Buildr template -- menu color issue

(Note: the form is not clear if the site admin account and the FTP info are really secure -- an indicator should be added to note that)

I'm using the most recent version of the Build.r template. I would like the body background to remain white but make the menu bar purple with white text. The dropdown submenu's are in the correct color, but I have no way to make the menu bar itself purple.

Try add this to custom.css file and change color code accordingly :

.zen-menu.zen-menu-horizontal ul li > a, .zen-menu.zen-menu-horizontal ul li > span{background: #715593 !important;}

Kindly ensure to clear your browser cache if changes dont reflect

Sorry about the bump. Finally saw the suggestion.

Didn't do what I wanted to do. I changed the background back to white (the color I want) but it's hard to see the menu navigation bar without hovering over it. I want that to be a purple background.

I have added the suggested CSS but it didn't make the menu bar purple. The code is 520A76

While it's fine (for now), the drop down menu's don't appear until you click on the main menu item. the hover color disappeared, too.

But it's not a big deal.
