ja-Directory footer Layout Problem

Dear all,
at the moment we do a "template-change" on one of our customers website.
We chose the Template "ja-directory".
Great Template! We set up the template as "manual installation" to keep the content and everything there.
Everything works great - but we have some strange issues with the footer.

We created three Modules for the footer (position: footer-1, footer-2 and footer-3).
As we see in the source code: the modules are all in a "container" with 1140px width. So we have those bad looking black fields "outsite" the website:

We looked at our settings, also we have setup the "builtin Joomla/Template" installation to compare our settings with your ready-to-use installation.
But we do not find the issue.
- we have Template layout "default" enabled

The "problem", you cannot access this site public - it's on my local computer, after finishing this redesign we will replace the "old" site with this new one.

If you added a custom module then check that all divs containers are correctly closed -

By the way accessing your website for us is important , only in that way we can suggest a correct solution after we debugged your footer section-

Problems are due to your custom modules published in footer position - with id = 116 and 117 and 131

You do not need to add such custom footer modules since you can manage your footer with /html/mod_footer/default.php file and customizing MOD_FOOTER_LINE1 and MOD_FOOTER_LINE2 with language overrides

You already disabled those modules - but, I still see those "black fields"

Try add this to custom.css file :

.t3-footnav .container{width: inherit !important;margin-left: 0 !important;}

Kindly ensure to clear your browser cache if changes dont reflect.

The "width: inherit"-part made the modules too small, so I tried to replace inherit with "auto" and that works perfectly:
.t3-footnav .container{width: auto !important;margin-left: 0 !important;}
