The class is defined in themes/University/css/stuff.css
Here is code to override the style

.gk-information > div > strong:before {
	color: #d1d1d1;
	content: 'f';
	font-family: university-pixellove;
	font-size: 40px;
	font-weight: 300;
	left: 0;
	position: absolute;
	top: -5px;
}

May i know the icon you want to apply ?
The default value is f and each different alphabat gives a different icon
Example :

.gk-information > div > strong:before {
	content: 'j';}

You can try to change the content value to see further icons.
