How to place a Logo in the JA Event II template?

I am trying to set up the site with JA Events II template, but I have some problems with the logo setting:

I have modified the logo from Extension/Template/Style/Theme tag, as you can see in the attached image

but even that is shown in the Extension/Template/Style/Layout tag (see the following picture), that is not working in the web page

as you can see here the logo is the JA Events II original (note I also cleared the browser cache)

I have found that the a logo.png file is placed in the ..\templates\ja_events_ii\images folder and just replacing that file I can place the logo in the web page, but that is not what I was expecting customizing the site with the JA Events II template.

Is changing the file in the ..\templates\ja_events_ii\images folder the right way to place the logo or should works the logo customizing via Extension/Template/Style/Theme tag?

gracy Hi,

You may kindly refer to documentation excerpt although it is quite well seen that you have followed the right step for changing logo in template powered by T3 framework

May kindly let us know when the site would be made online on some test url in order to take closer look

I've found just following the reply for another problem I had that the problem is solved just using the "ja_events_ii - Features Intro" style.

In other words:
- "ja_events_ii - Default" template DON'T accepts logo placement via Theme settings (it seems that logo is hardcoded using the "logo.png" placed in the "..\templates\ja_events_ii\images" folder)
- "ja_events_ii - Features Intro" template accepts logo placement via Theme settings

My question now is: Should I use only the "ja_events_ii - Features Intro" template to customize the JA Events II template for my site?

You may kindly refer to documentation excerpt as the homepage uses specific layout. Apart, You may assign default layout for all pages. It majorly depends upon the layout type you prefer.

Would suggest to kindly download and install quickstart package of specific template on another directory which would give you replica of demo site and let you know in depth of module configurations inclusive of how pages of demo site have been set up

Step 1 - Create Template Style
The Homepage uses features-intro layout so we need to create new template style. The best way to create a new template style is duplicating the "ja_events_ii - Default" template style. Tick on the template style then hit the duplicate button, open the template style and assign the features-intro layout for the template style.
