Ja-Hotel Template & T3 Framework Issues

Dear Support,

i have a lot of questions regarding Templates & T3 Framework Issues. Before typing below issues i want to let you know i faced no issues in joomlashine templates and framework which they use. I am A designer not programmer / developer.

Why i need to edit .CSS backend files to add blocks in template? if i want to edit footer i have to open .CSS file and edit this.
Whenever i change template from default to any other color which is available in ja-hotel template. Home page articles are gone or if i select other theme color home articles are there but in Hotel/Booking everything is vanished.
By Default slideshow does not animate images automatically. also i cant find any options in Slideshow options. even there is no option to edit width and height.
Why your templates T3 Framework is not user friendly? why always we need to edit template backend file or create custom .CSS files? why i cant edit directly from Joomla Admin like i do in joomlashine templates?

Kindly reply me what i need to do? i cant edit always .CSS files as a designer i need something which i can easily edit in Joomla Admin.

You should not change any css file, because any changes will be reverted on template update. For css customizations You need to create custom.css file an place all the modifications there.
Please check if those colour options template styles has a component on homepage activated. Layouts has such option in case someone will wish to hide it on some pages.
There are multiple slider modules available for joomla, depending from template a different can be found and provided style may differ. Some has autoanimation some don't. It's up to You which module You wish to use.
I'm not sure how to answer this question. T3 template has been developed over years using suggestion from our clients, and the version used now has been widely used and no such comment were given yet. Please suggest what changes would be nice to the template configuration and I'll add it to suggestions for our developers. Have You tried Theme Magic for the colors and widths changes? It's one of the options in template's configuration.

You may also view first preview of T4 framework which would bring in totally new experience for your sites and simultanously, making most of edits easy and seamless with more functionality 🙂

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Yes i do understand that new T4 is gonna release soon but still right now i got no proper response for current ja-hotel template.

Slideshow which is by default should have option to animate images automatically i know i can find 3rd party sliders but normally any template has slider which auto animate.
i tried to check thememagic but i cant find the way to resize Width/Height on slideshow images. it takes a lot of screen area.
i am unable to find footer modules which i can directly edit in joomla. i.e. if i want to remove the copy rights i checked your documentation it says open .CSS file etc and remove it but there should be a direct way inside joomla admin like joomlashine templates.
If i want to add new blocks in template i am unable to do it directly inside the template only i can change locations. like joomlashine templates framework there should be a option to edit/resize/add new/delete any new block inside the joomla admin.
As i told you before i am a Designer i can design but can not create any custom .CSS files. so i need something which can be directly handled inside joomla admin.

Hope you understand my issues.

1) You may kindly follow the suggestion provided here
2) To be more precise and avoid confusion/ambiguity in addressing your query, Kindly provide screenshot marked with annotations showing exactly as to how you wish to have them seen
3) Footer Joomla module has been assigned to show copyright information for which you can change the text using language override option and search for MOD_FOOTER_LINE2 text and change accordingly
4) You may follow this documentation excerpt in order to add new block or module position

To change the copyrights info, open the \templates\ja_hotel\html\mod_footer\default.php file, find the following info and change to what you want.

You can use the language override for this

Go to Extensions -> Languages -> Override -> New Override -

If you want to change text then add your text or if you want to hide it then remove all text from it and save

It is not needed to be a php programmer, simply copy it in your local text editor ( notepad ) change it as you wish and then copy changed text in that file and save it -

Thanks for your reply, i am facing one more issues.

In your sample template when i click on search and select hotel etc checkout.. i get no errors but when i do this in the same installed template i am getting errors which are attached kindly help me and find attached file of error.

Looking at your screenshot it seems you are developing your website on your local wamp server ,

Unfortunately we cannot debug your server configuration , so would be better if you will find a way to move your website on a public host from where we can access and debug errors -

hi, sorry for the late reply, well i had that issue in localhost but now in live website its working but main issue which i asked before on home poge under slider there is no search module and i tried to use which is on hotel page but its not the same which has to be on home page can you please check and do it for me on home page i am sending you my publish host details below:

I'm sorry but your question is not clear at all - could you details to which search module are you referring ?

There are no search modules below slideshow

As you can read from documentation page HERE

You will need to install on your website the Solidres - Module Advanced Search , which is not installed now -

Since this is a 3rd part commercial extension we do not have it and i cannot install it for you , so please install it and follow documentation to correctly configure it.
