T4 Builder compatibility with previous version pages?

Hi,
Will the T4 Page Builder be compatible with previous pages created with Builder 3?
Any need to redesign some modules or pages? if so, do you have any idea of the proportion of redesign needed?

T4 Page builder and the previous page builder will be independent as its core features and purposes are different.
However, the content blocks from previous builders could be converted to the new page builder.
With T4 Joomla page builder, you can use it to build a completely new website, or just build 1 page in your current website using template or framework from other clubs or to just add 1 or some section to some place in a page. It is proposed to work with all 3rd party extensions.

I have a quick question is the content downloaded to the user computer or stay on Joomlart Computers and fed to a user computer? And if it stays on Joomlart Computer what happens if your server goes down? I believe this was the problem in th earlier version? most Page Builders allow the user to download all content to their system again is this the case with Joomlart now!

And does T4 Page Builder respect the Privacy Laws? Because if content is being pulled instead of being downloaded it create a legal issue for the user or developer wouldn't you say?

charles99 Where did you get the idea content would ever be served from a Joomla Art server? As far as I can tell, about the only part of this that will possibly be hosted by them would be the pre-configured page blocks and even then anything there is going to be nothing more than boilerplate content. If in fact they will have anything what so ever to do with storing and or serving my websites content they can count me out of ever using this and I can bet that is going to be the case with most website owners.

No, all content blocks are stored in your site files and database, you can even work on your local without internet connection.
All content blocks, files are included in the installation.

Yeah, that can be a problem and we solved this issue in the new Page Builder, everything is included in the installation, everything is stored in your entire site folder and database.

Thanks... was just thinking out loud..after running into the content problem from another page builder component. The content was being pulled from their server thus creating a security and privacy issue. And when your subscription ended so did your access to their content.

These are the reasons I posted... And I look forward to using T4 Builder...

Quick question if you install T4 Builder and decide to remove the preview version and wait for the stable version do you need to remove the T4 Template? And is the Preview upgradeable? Meaning can you install the stable version over the Preview Version!

This is preview version and there will be lots of changes and updates later, you may need to remove preview version and install the stable version for both template and plugin.
