How can simple way to fix IE

I have used Ie Browser to surf the web for finding tex,video and infomation for my project.But I have been getting to hank all ways and slow browser I have phoned to Internet Explorer 10 technical support number

I think their advice currently is to upgrade and use Edge instead
Can you not use Chrome or Firefox?
