JA Space quickstart can only be installed with demo content ?

I'm trying to install JA Space quickstart on a MAMP server chez moi. I was surprised that there is no option to not install demo content.

Hi Pankaj, I was hoping that the homepage modules were present and examples of the image sliders on project articles per the joomlart demo. I haven't noticed anything about this image sider in the documentation.

To be more precise and avoid confusion/ambiguity in addressing your query, Kindly provide screenshot marked with annotations showing the respective modules you wish to refer to exactly as Quickstart package gives in replica of the demo site if "Install sample data" had been clicked in installation steps

JA Space support Gallery type articles. On backend you can select the Content type as Gallery : http://prntscr.com/maucke
It display the gallery article, also you can create new article as Gallery type.

Hi, How do I find a button on quickstart install to request that demo content is not installed ? I tried clicking on the only blue button I could see in expectation of it going white, i.e. OFF.

I was confused about the homepage modules which were indeed present but no assigned to Homepage en-GB because I had added 2 languages during install.

See 2 Product (aka Project) page images attached. The intro images used in the CASE STUDIES module on homepage is creeping into the top of the Product pages.

How to prevent this ?

I tried that but it has the opposite effect from that needed. Aldo, the main menu is almost invisible.

timtecsa You may check now. Ref: Screenshot as intro image set for specific article titled "callas | pdfToolbox" had supersuded the default bg-image which has been removed. Alongwith, Had also commented out the CSS suggested which was disallowing gradient overlay to appear

Deleting the Intro image from the Product article also removes the slide image from the CASE STUDIES module on homepage. Maybe this is just a bg z-index problem ? See http://composesites.com/space-cdcs/index.php/en/products

timtecsa You may check now as I have restored the intro image which is appearing for "products" page and instead, applied more reliable and concrete workaround as follows :

Added page class suffix for specific menu item named masthead-intact
Added this to custom.css file :
.masthead-intact .t3-header + .t3-masthead .ja-masthead{background:url('/space-cdcs/templates/ja_space/images/bg-masthead.jpg') !important;}

Brilliant ! Knife and fork method :-) I wonder how it is done in the JA-Space demo ?
