How to use Dark and Light themes on JA Space

Client is asking if a user can choose to switch from Dark to Light on any page ?
Incidentally I found it useful to disable the white color CSS for Headings (H1, H2, H3 etc) because it made editing paragraph headings possible in Dark theme. :-)

If you can see why there is no mainmenu showing on English pages it might save me some time.
Update: The 'Start a new project' module has now gone awol in both languages :-(

Please check now it is showing , i added a default template for english language since chinese is the default website language .

Thanks. I haven't installed CG Template Switcher yet as I'm trying to work out why the menu item Home Light doesn't work in either language. It did before but .... I don't see how to assign a template style to the menu item.

Not very helpful I find. I still cannot get Template switcher (in footer) and Language switcher to behave together. Main menu still has a tendence to hide :-(

Module is correctly displayed in the footer position - maybe you can post a screenshot of desired layout so we can help .

I think there is a conflict when using Language switcher in display of mainmenu and in the hero module. In default En-GB homepage the menu disappears when swithing to Chinese language.
I have edited the file /language/en-GB/en-GB.tpl_ja_space.ini as suggested but I haven't found an equivalent Chinese template file to edit.

1) You should set the theme light as default template - then edit theme tab and choose the light theme

2) I cannot understand what you mean - as you can see from img below it works fine by my side -

3) You can use the language override for chinese or copy the file en-GB.tpl_ja_space.ini from /language/en-GB/ folder in your chinese language folder language/zh-CN/ renaming it zh-CN.tpl_ja_space.ini

I see the same but not if I select Light template in footer.

Notice that menu text is dark too so not visible. Rest of page below Hero is Light. Just noticed that the strip of Logos just above the Template switcher is missing in Light theme.

I don't follow how to set Light theme to be default.

I'll try editing the Project text as suggested.

The home-light module is using a white background image as you can see from img below

So you will need to create 2 different modules 1 with actual background for home-dark and one with white background for Home-light version -

Anyway best option for you is to download and install our quickstart version on local and then copy all settings from there - and replicate them on your website -

In this way you can easily learn how to configure both versions

I already have 4 Hero modules installed

But no change What am I missing? I have quickstart demo site locally.
Update: I think English light is now set to default but on Chinese Hero is still Dark.
Also I added custom css to make the Product info heading dark grey instead of pale yellow for light pages but not showing.

Hi Pavit,
I have now set all pages to use Light templates and have disabled the Template switcher module.

I've no idea why but the Chinese mainmenu has disappeared and the Hero-zh module text doesn't slide in.
Also there is an unneeded background on the JA Massheads despite disabling it on custom.css - mystery.

Whatever I do, this masthead background appears on product pages despite having uploaded a white image to replace it. Except here: http://composesites.com/space-cdcs/index.php/en/products-en/express-rip-and-workflow

What am I missing ?
UPDATE. Found it. Page Class masthead-intact now deleted :-)

Also the menu on Chnese pages is missing :-(
