You can change the gray style from the Slideshow module option, do not select gray scale.

Could you share a screenshot, as the style is normal if there is no grayscale. the counter is only in dark.
That you can change by adding this code in custom.css file and change the color code as per needs.

Please refer to this documentation excerpt -- The exact file path will be in /templates/ja_lawfirm/css as per the template you are using

The custom.css file is located in: templates/t3_blank/css . If you don't see the file, create new file then open that file to add CSS to style for your template.
