How do you lock down T4 Editor

I would like to know when you enable the T4 Editor can anyone use it to make changes to an website? Or just the Admin only will have access to the T4 Editor! I normally disable the editor in the front-end and only allow my staff access.

Hi charles99

You can disable the T4 editor by changing the default editor of your website. In back-end, go to System > Global configuration and change the default editor.

No I don't think you understand my question.... T4 Page Builder only works with the T4 editor shouldn't your content point this fact out? While the normal joomla editor should be for members, the T4 Editor should only be for the website Owner to use to edit their website. By making the T4 Editor avaliable for anyone to use, would allow anyone to edit the website, which is the last thing any website owner want their users to be able to do.

Your content is not clear on this point this is why I asked the question. So the website owner should only give their staff access to the T4 Editor and give its members access to the normal Joomla Editor. I think Joomlart should update its content and place this fact in their content! Doing it the way outlined in your material will lead to people websites being edited by their members...

Thanks for your clear explanation.
As administrator of website, you can configure permission for each member to use specific editor, means you can decide which user can access the T4 editor. It will follow Joomla permission settings.
And yeah, we will include this in the documentation and a detailed blog post explain more about this point.
