Inject code into head / body not working

I have recently updated to Joomla 3.9.2 . This went "fairly" smooth and afterwards it correctly updated the T3 plugin to version 2.7.3 . I have T3 Blank BS3 template version 2.2.9 running, however following to this upgrade I lost the ability to insert custom code into the head of the template with option to insert after <head> via the Joomla Admin interface

Funilly enough, I can insert code before </head> .

Any reason for this?

I am not sure what issue you faced without checking it on site.
can you add the custom code on site head section and edit fields in first post .
Submit a temp super user login details of site, i will make a test on your site.
