How to remove State field from Billing page

State field appears on Billing Page as a required field when I do not have a State field in Field management. We do not have user registration. How can I remove the required State field from the billing page

Kindly share the login info of your site and tell me the page where I can see this State field.

Also clarify the detailed steps to see that field.

I just tried to register an event at my local site, there is no state field there.

You don't need to log in to see the problem as they do not require registrants to register a user account to register for the convention. To see the problem - go to http://dev.aaconvention.org.nz/index.php/event-registration?eventId=53&controller=event&task=individualRegister and complete a test registration - note there is no State field on that page, when you continue to the confirmation screen, no State field. However on the http://dev.aaconvention.org.nz/index.php/event-registration?controller=payment&task=billinginfo page, clicking "Same as Registrant" shows a required State field. It is that field that needs to be deleted.

Thanks for clarification, we're working on simplifying the workflow checkout in DT Register, it will not require info like this when checking out.

It will be release in new version of DT Register.

So how can I remove this field in the meantime - surely there is a way to make it not required and then hide via CSS? What files would need to be changed?

Hopefully you received my confirmation of login. If you are having trouble accessing the system, it could be because the server has you on a blacklist, which is why I asked for your URL should you not be able to gain access. Otherwise is there any progress on this - we are waiting on this to go live.

You can backup this file: /components/com_dtregister/templates/default/views/payment/billinginfo.php

At approx line 112, remove / comment this snippet of code:
