How to remove shade from footer-2?

footer-2 creates a shaded box around the copyright and 40 year tag. How do I remove the shade?

I solved this problem by modifying the t3-assets/css file directly. I was hoping to solve via custom.css but nothing worked there. Maybe someone know why custom.css did not work and will share it.

You should disable any type of compression and optimization first to see your custom.css in action, i applied a custom code background to it and it worked as you can see from image below.

Only after you completed all your customizations through custom.css file then you can apply again all compressions and optimizations on your website.

I see. This is not the problem. See attached for lighter shade of gray background behind the 40 year anniversary stamp and the copyright. My goal is to make that shaded rectangle transparent. I added this
.footer-right {
padding: 26px;
background: rgba(255,255,255,0.0); (I changed the shade from 0.05 to 0.0)
}
to custom.css but it ignores it. As always, thank you for assisting.

I modified your custom.css code in the way showed below

.footer-right {
padding: 26px;
background:transparent!important;
}

Please check now.

Again, first to add any custom code to your custom.css file you should first disable any optimization type from your backend clean your backend cache and then you can see your code added to the website.
