Customize user registration text in email

When a user registers, some generic text is sent to their Inbox. I think along the lines of

Hello name,

Thank you for registering at Sitename. Your account detail is as follow:

Username: username
Password: password

Once you have completed the rest of registration process, you will receive another email with activation link.

I want to customize this message. How do I do that?

Hi,

You can change it via the language strings in the file: /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_users.ini

The registration email you shared seems from Joomla user file.
Open /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_users.in
All the values are defined in this file for user login.

The message you shared in post does not match with any language value, either its wrong or you customized the message

I tried to access the site registration menu to register so i can see the message but your site only loading the page for long time.

Ninja is there a language override I can use? If I modify the ini file, it could get overwritten when I update Joomla? Isn't that correct to say?

Yes you can override it from Joomla.
Login to Joomla admin > Language override > select the English site language.
Now find the text and create override. Here is a tutorial helps you to understand how it works in Joomla.
