Buy JA Megafilter or not?

Hello,
is this megafilter working on category pages? So if I click on some menu item which is connected with category for ex. notebook, it will automatically modify search results for this category?
And is it possible to use my old structure of custom fields? I have one custom field set up as custom group for ex. notebook parameters and another custom fields as string for example screen resolution. I have already created program to import data from customer in this way for my old extension cherry picker which is not working with 12000 products.

smartpolo Hi. It does work with custom fields and as a category search results, but I cannot tell 100% if 12k products won't be a problem. I would suggest to purchaise it and test it. We have 7 days return guarantee.

Hello, thank you for fast response. There was problem with cherry picker, that when I see category page for one category it processed custom fields also for another categories and it showed me Error too many keys specified; max 64 keys allowed.

And I cannot see anywhere in documentation how to set up custom fields. Just basic fields. I am asking because I have already created program to fill custom fields like I described above and I want to know if it can be used also for your component.

May I know which type of content are you wanting to use with JA Megafilter?

If you're using Joomla content, custom fields need to be created via Joomla content and configure there, when you select to display via JA Megafilter component, you will decide to show it up or not.
