I'm having a devil of a time getting publisher to display anything. My layout on my news tab looks like this...

http://prntscr.com/n7ecyb

I see this option on my issues config page.

http://prntscr.com/n7edn5

I can not find this bootstrap overide anywhere.

Furthermore I could not find the installation for the sidebar module or anything else in Merav's video.

I really want publisher to work can you please please please help me get it going. I'm following the videos but nothing is matching up.

Thanks

Allen

I am beginning to wonder if my publisher installed correctly. I hope that someone is able to look into this soon.

    Hi Allen
Can you check the submitted login details of staff, i tried both the login details but none of them is working : http://prntscr.com/n7pzz8

About the module i am not entirely clear, if you can give me the link of video on which you saw that i can check it better. Because of video is too old, there is many things are changed since new Joomla version released.

I need some details from you to know about how you want to page look like.
here you can see the list of features and details in publisher and here is demo .

    Regards

The exact login details are working for me. The User name is I and in India.... small a as in alpha small n as in nancy

Cut and paste the password. It's logging on perfectly for me.

As for the lay out I've done it before ... but the bloody thing just isn't loading an page. If you can make it display any layout I will e able to get it to do what I want. I've used publisher on another system.

It appears that this version did not fully install ... I don't see the iJoomla side bars or anything else.

I have double checked the login password.

The other one is for FTP note the username is not admin. It is Ian with a capital I as in India.

    Allen

As for the links of the videos they are right on the top of every page... and the link to the manual for publisher is pulling up nothing.

I am pretty certain this has something to do with it becasue there is no bootstrap override in the general settings.

    http://prntscr.com/n7r0c7

    As for the tutorials...

    http://prntscr.com/n7r0sv

This is the link and this is the video.

    https://spaceportals.net/administrator/index.php?option=com_publisher&controller=about&task=vimeo&id=57626894

You will have to extract it from vimeo for this one.

I don't see this option for sidebar...

    http://prntscr.com/n7r1jg

This is what the sidebar does...

    http://prntscr.com/n7r212

and I do not see the article presented in layout format which makes me think that my bootstrap may be messed up.

For the sidebars to work you need iJoomla sidebars as per this screen shot http://prntscr.com/n7r3g3 it also shows iJoomla surveys and I would love to have that product too.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi Allen,

I edited this issue - Space Portals Newsfeed - and I reselected the layout and add again the zones in layout page. Save the issue and in front-end I can see the zones articles.

    Kind Regards,
    Alin

alindinca Thank you so much let me double check a few things and I'll be working it. I may change the layout and see if it works.

      Now about the sidebar?

OK it worked a couple of times... then I went and changed it from specific articles to categories.. cleared the cache and now it's broken.

It should be pulling from the categories. You had the right article.

Very frustrated so close but yet so far away.

      Allen

      alindinca

I swear all I did was change the categories and I did exactly what you said you did and I am back to the broken layout.

I feel like I am cursed.

        Hi
When you change it, re save the issue to get the new date. I added the category again and i can see the output on frontend http://prntscr.com/n8c3aj

Kindly clear the Joomla cache after every change.

Um... I get that... but it is not showing the ARTICLES in the category... this is what I get and it is still NOT working.

There should be articles displaying as there are articles in both the Spaceportals News and the UFO categories.

As you can see the articles each have a set category... and the access level of Guest and one Public for good measure in the Joomla native content.

        http://prntscr.com/n8xbmh

We also have them categorized proper in the publisher database

        http://prntscr.com/n8xc91

Categories are set in the zone.

        http://prntscr.com/n8xd93

And the zone is in the issue

        http://prntscr.com/n8xi9a

And absolutely NONE of my articles are displaying NONE

        http://prntscr.com/n8xitt

        Hi,

Please clear site cache after each modification in publisher. I deleted the cache and I can see the articles in your page.

        Kind Regards,
        Alin

        Alin,

Just so we are on the same page... I am going to system and Cache

And I delete ALL of the cache files. Is there some place else I should be clearing the cache?

          alprunty
          Hi
I can see these articles on news page : http://prntscr.com/n8zkb7
Your site is using Joomla cache, so you need to clear them everytime when you make any change on site.

          Regards
