Changing default template to a Template without T3 Framework

I installed JA Simpli to test from a "quick start" installation. Later, I wanted to try another template that doesn't use the T3 Framework, and installed it, but when I reload the front end after activating the template I get a "500 Message" T3 Plugin is not installed. Am I not able to install another non-JATemplate on this quick-start installation?

Look at the menu item for page giving 500 error and verify that it's using your template

Also are you sure that you have only JA Simpli installed as joomlart template ?

Because ja simpli do not use JAT3 Framework so it is not needed any JAT3 Plugin

pavit Hi, I wanted to make the Simpli - [Magazine style] as the default template but still its the Simpli - Default template is the one showing on the frontend. Thats even after clearing cache. How do I fix this?
