I have this issue when I add different field options to an event - the price at the top of the registration form does not show when I add certain fee-based fields.

I have a checkbox that deducts $75 from a $100 event - it works when I check the box and the displayed price at the top of the form changes.

I have a drop-down with two options, one adds $40 to the registration - that works, too.

But then I have a multi-checkbox field where the user can check as many of the options as they want, each adding $500 to the registration. I also have a drop-down that allows the user to choose one of 18 options. When either of those fields are enabled, the price at the top disappears on the form, so the user can't see the effect of the options they've chosen.

I've seen this on other sites I manage, but I just tested and realized that this seems to be an issue. (DT Register 4.0.9).

I copied the credentials to the account in Joomla and saved the record. I logged out and logged in using those credentials successfully.

I'm not sure what's wrong. It should be working now.

      This is for their golf event.

        It's working for me now, too. But when I created the event and the options, the price was not displaying and I could not see the effect of checking and unchecking options.

        I don't know if this was some kind of caching issue, or what. But I tested it extensively, adding and removing options to see the effect - which options needed to be disabled to get the price to show - before I reported this.

        If there is a caching issue with fee-based fields or options, maybe there is a way to keep that non-cached in the extension in future versions?

          Could you clarify this in details so I will try to replicate it at my end? If it's cached, will share with dev team for checking and fix.

              saguaros Please see my original message where I explained the steps I took and results I received at that time.

              This is interesting because the tests I ran on the event and options when I posted this issue no longer seem to be the case - which is why I thought it might be a caching issue. I may or may not have cleared the cache in Joomla or in my browser at the time - I don't recall. But because the page is now showing the price properly, I have to assume it was cache-related at some level.

                  We released Preview version of DT Reg 4.2, could you try to test with it in a test site and see how it goes?

                      saguaros I don't have a site that I can test with - all my sites are live.

                      Maybe when the next full release of DT Register comes out, I can test that on the one site that I have running 4.1.0. All my other sites are running 4.0.9 with the patch for the payment options.

                      Hopefully, the final version of 4.2.0 will resolve a lot of the issues I've been experiencing and documenting.
