Website running very slow

My website is running very slow. Also I installed solidres component but the display is awful on the home page.

I can hardly see the font and the boxes are disjointed.

Try to add to your custom.css

.t3-slideshow + .t3-mainbody {
margin-top:572px!important;
}

I placed the custom.css in the template location of the website but it did not make a difference.

I also added the custom.css file here: template folder/css/

But there is no difference.

When you make changes you will need to clean your website cache, please check now it works
