Background Image 'How To'

We have uploaded and installed JA-Sensei and have noticed that the 'Background Image' on the 'Home' page doesn't display. Not quite sure why this is the case. The 'Background Image' is visible when viewed via 'ThemeMagic' yet when viewed in 'Chrome' the 'Background Image' doesn't appear.

The Questions are as follows:
1. What are the steps to be taken in order to effect the change?
2. We intend to create our own .png 'Background Image' at a later stage and have worked out that it should reside in (/images/joomlart/hero - Folder) in the code how do we effect this change?
3. Where can we make changes to the "Background Color'?

Your assistance in this regard would be of great help. Thank you in advance.

By my side using chrome Version 73.0.3683.103 (Build official) (at 64 bit) your background image is correctly showed

Maybe you will need to clean your browser cache ?

Thank you so much for your prompt response.

I must apologies for the confusion here was using 'Google Chrome Canary' checked it out in 'Google Chrome' works just fine, and later found the module 'Hero' which deals with the 'Background Image' issue I thought I was having.

Still need to know where to change the 2 'Background Colors'?

That's settings are from css in /css/template.css folder

.acm-features.style-1 {
background: linear-gradient(135deg, #611eeb, #9c4ff0);
}

You can use a custom.css file to add your custom colors.

We need to change the colors on the 'Masterhead' for the 'Our blog' for instance. Which CSS file needs to be used?

You can use the custom.css file and change colors adding this code

div.ja-masthead {
background:linear-gradient(135deg,#611eeb,#9c4ff0)!important;
}

Change the values at the above default values as per your needs
