I intend to use the template https://demo.gavick.com/joomla25/cloudhost/

for a simple one pager - index.html - without joomla. Can you assist me a bit with establishing the index.html please?

You can follow THIS simple tutorial on how to transform your cloudhost template in a onepage template.

Essentially you should use only modules in your home page and then link them with menu items set as urls adding the id of your module as link and at the end add a smoothscroll javascript.

I'm afraid but we cannot provide such type of support for customizations, i provided the url for a help page but since template is not developed to work as one page template then all customizations should be done by yourself, you can hire a developer to have such customizations done, it is not a template bug but it is a custom modification.
