Integrate Builder Header & Footer into JA Mason Blog Page

I have a builder site. I installed JA Mason template. I want to use the blog page for JA Mason. I created a menu item and assigned a blog to it, then assigned the JA Mason template to it. The header and footer are from JA Mason and I want to the Builder header and footer. Can I achieve this with JA Mason?

Unfortunately, Such feature isnt there currently as sought by you as JA Builder page can be used for rendering in component (main-body) area of another template by way of adding of content blocks as also outlined in documentation excerpt

Also, As per General Page Layout Design Guidelines - Web standards, It is always suggested to use consistent header and footer for all pages which would help enhance user experience and improve site's navigability so would suggest to please have this standard remain intact due to certain reasons as outlined 🙂

To derive such layout enabling to use all sections including header and footer, You may follow this documentation excerpt under heading - Create JA Builder page in which you can ensure to assign template style as JA builder as shown in screenshot

You can assign Menu item type > Articles > Category Blog > and select category as also outlined here for specific menu item and thereafter, You may follow the documentation excerpt

I'm not clear on what I add and what position I assign the blog menu. It doesn't logically follow from the prior instruction.

The specific menu item is now returning with 404 error page.

You may let me know and I will create almost replica of demo site (page) on new menu item as the instructions are almost similar as seen in documentation excerpt and forum topic link.

I changed the configuration since our last post in another attempt. I have linked that page in the footer. I would like the blog to appear at that page. Please let me know that you can access it. It is an empty page.

Here is the main step performed to get the similar JA Builder page layout as sought by you :

1) Had changed the specific menu item type to Menu item type > Articles > Category Blog and selected category which you may change accordingly and configure menu item > blog layout to get the appearence as preferred

You can now edit specific JA Builder page as per documentation excerpt by clicking on "Pen" icon which appears at top-left corner after being logged in and you will be presented with content blocks like seen from visual- documentation in which :

1) You can change modules to reflect from specific module position in sidebar block.
2) Main Content block is already rendering the Article : Category blog layout

Also, Ensure to have more articles added for specific category assigned
