Grid 4 - Frontpage doesn't work & Update for Grid 4

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

I need your help for:

Point 1: Under www.intertech-austria.at grid4 is installed.

The front page consists of 9 pictures, which are composed of the selected categories.

Usually you click on the pictures and move to the article. This does not work for a picture of the news!

I tried everything for hours and did not find the mistake. Can you help me?

Point 2: Grid4 already has an update for Joomla 3.9. Is it possible to install this update on www.intertech-austria.at? Does the page then stop or there are other problems?

evamaria Hi. About point 2 I can say that no problem has been reported, but I would still make a backup before updating as I always advice with any update. Just in case.

About point 1. It looks to be a problem with menu structure. You need a landing page for those articles. A landing page is a category layout page for the article mentioned.

Hi Eve,

As teitbite mentioned, an article must belong to a menu item so that when you click to open, it will redirect to correct page. Kindly check article which doesn't work, assign it (or category it belongs to) to a menu item. You can use an existing menu item or creating a new one.
