Masshead not displaying

I'm following the masshead instructions the best I can and not displaying at all. And the user guide link in the description of the module is broken.

I just want a simple display similar to the demo with Hi in h1. A subtitle in h2. And a longer description in paragraph or h3. Please advise.

In your template settings -> General Tab -> Extended settings was missing the home-1 as additional position

I added it and now it works fine
