Site won't work with any PHP over 7.0.33

I am having issues with JA Muzic and it not allowing me to update to anything over PHP 7.0.33. If I do upgrade I get the following error on a white page and no website:

Error: Failed to start application: Failed to start the session

May i know the Joomla version your site using?
As older Joomla does not support latest PHP version. When you update the PHP version your Joomla stopped.
You can set default Joomla template to see if it works.

I suggest you to update template and all installed extension to latest version and update Joomla first before change the PHP version.

Take a full backup of site before apply updates.

Everything is up to date.
Joomla 3.9.5
JA Music 1.1.8

All plug-ins and components I have gone through as well and everything is up to date.

Kindly open system > global configuration > error report > Max
and change the template to default Joomla template if its working with that,
Let me know if the error is only from JA Muzic template. Provide a temp super user login details of site in Edit fields option, first post.
