I downloaded and installed the Sugite template. For some reason, every article I create and link a menu to is blank. Menu and footer are there, but no document/article. Created several new test ones and get nothing. I can get things on the home page, but it consists of all modules, any article will not display. I have never seen this before with other sites I have done. Please advise or suggest what may be wrong?

It only appears to be the Sugite template. I downloaded another one just to test and the articles come up without issues. What could have happened with the template? I haven't updated Joomla, I haven't disabled any modules or plugins, what is wrong with the template/site so that it doesn't display?

This could be issue due to wrong layout is select.
Kindly check the template style > JA Sugite default > Layout > Default.
For home page menu you can duplicate the template style and set Feature intro layout in it.

Default template style will work all over the site.
And the duplicate one you will create only for homepage, If there is any issue, kindly edit fields in first post and submit site login details for staff, I will check and fix it for you.

I had started off with layout "features-into-2" when setting everything up and it looked good. Now that I changed per your suggestion, the articles show up, but all the content is now missing from the first page. If I switch the style back to the one I had prior, there is still no content, just a login form. This is so strange, have never seen a template with so many issues. Even paying for this membership seems like a mistake.

Its due to wrong configuration you applied on site, as there is no such issue reported.

Kindly edit fields in first post and submit site login details for staff, I will check and fix it for you.
You only need to use two different Template style on site, One for Homepage and one for all other pages as default template style, Both will have different layout selected in them.
