When I configure articles with 'show' featured articles, only articles that have not been 'featured' appear. I have a suspicion that it might have something to do with the drop down menu. Do you have any idea why this is happening?

    Hi
May i know the page ULR on which you are not able to see the Featured articles, I checked your site but there is no feature article menu used to show articles http://prntscr.com/nij4gm

    Regards

Forget what I said about the article - I thought that would be an easier way to explain the issue.

In fact I would like the "Hotspot Pro" component (creates the map view to be displayed) to be the featured one. But It just seems to work if its put into a custom HTML module.

I would like the menu item "Map view 1 (MAINCONTENT)" to be the featured one, but it just turns the site blank.

      Hi
I do not understand your question about the menu item.
Do you mean you want to set it as default Menu of site ?
Did you checked the extension with default Joomla template Protostar or Beez3 and see if its works with them ?

It has just been testet on template Joomlabamboo Highline2.
I would like this one to be featured as shown on the attached screenshot.

please checke with default Joomla template Protostar or Beez3 and see if its works

Now I have reinstalled BEEZ3 and PROTOSTAR and it works just fine with these templates.

I have just made changes to the following module positions:

Module "Main Menu" changed from position [Menu] to [Position-1]
Module "Welcome" changed from position [Offcanvas] to [Position-1]
Module "Members" changed from position [Offcanvas] to [Position-1]
Module "Login Form" changed from position [Offcanvas] to [Position-1]

Please take a look before I turn it back to Higline2.
Could It have something to do with that one have to make a copy of the Main menu module. Then leave the original main menu in the menu position and put the menu you want to show in the offcanvas position?

Would you please give feedback when I can do things back.

        Hi
Thanks for checking it with default theme, as this issue is from the template, there is conflict between the template and extensions.
I need to check this with development team, kindly edit fields in first post and submit site FTP details for staff.
Also fix the directory permissions http://prntscr.com/nini5h
All directory should be writable to save changes in Jooma.

Template is set back to normal and server login has been provided for your access.

          Hi
Thanks for information, The issue bit strange as if i apply the same setting on current home menu, its working fine.
Can you tell me what is different between this menu and other menu items of this extension ?
All menu types looks same and if i apply same setting for the current home menu like the main content item its working fine http://prntscr.com/niyhy6
it also work for other hotspot menu items too.
