How to disable section marked "Auto"

I am trying to organize the layout but there is a section marked "Auto" cannot find where the articles coming from and how to customize (disable) this modules. Please see the screenshot attached.

You can hide main body for any specific page through T3 framework > Layout > Skip component option option. Visual in reference

In addition, You may kindly view layout system documentation of T3 framework to know in depth about the same

The specific positions as marked in screenshot are for rendering component in main content block along with the system message.

The Message section is used to display the system messages.
Example : When you logged in on site there will be message for successful login.
The component section is mainbody section of the site that used to display Each menu output.
You can find it in template folder \tpls\blocks\mainbody
There are different mainbody files used for different types of layout.

Thanks for the further details, I have slightly more understanding now but I still need clarification. How can I control the content of main body? What shoudl I do to show only selected categories or completely make this section invisible?

Content of mainbody is controlled by Menu.
Example , you have a category blog menu type, you can check the layout options to set the no. of articles.
Template is only used to show it on its own style, all output is handled by the Menu.
If its 3rd party extension it will be from the extension side.
