After the Joomla update, the site shows error 500

Hello team, I have a problem, After the update of Joomla 3.8.6 to 3.8.8 the site shows error 500, does not allow me to enter either the frontend or the backend, can you help me?

Something wrong with Joomla update process, when enabling the Error Reporting (via configuration.php file), I see this error:

Fatal error: Class 'Joomla\CMS\Plugin\CMSPlugin' not found in ..../plugins/system/sessiongc/sessiongc.php on line 22

You can post the same into Joomla forum for more help on this.

If you have a backup of your site with previous Joomla version, pls try to restore it and update again. I recommend to upgrade in a dev / test site first before applying to live site.

I'm not able to edit your configuration.php file via FTP:
"configuration.php: Permission non accordée"

I'd definitely echo Saguaros's comments regarding

"If you have a backup of your site with previous Joomla version, pls try to restore it and update again. I recommend to upgrade in a dev / test site first before applying to live site."
