Hi,
I'm using Guru Pro on my website but after 1,2 year Guru is so slowly.. It takes almost 4 min to load a page for students. I had never this problem before. I saw in the forum that several people suffer from this problem. What can I do to improve it? I will not buy a product that does not work exactly after 1 year of support.

rborst Hi. Please provide an access to joomla panel and an url to Your site. Are You keeping Your extensions and joomla up to date? Sounds like a problem with outdated extensions.

thank you for your reply. I just updated the extensions but it still slow. I added the login details.

Hi,

I assume that you refer to "My Students" page for teachers. In that page, you can see the number of certificates for each student, and this action take some time to calculate this.
Please log via FTP, I tried but I can not log in, make a back-up to this file: "components\com_guru\views\guruauthor\tmpl\mystudents.php" then replace this file with the attached one (unzip first the attached file). This change will take out the certificates info for students.
For the next Guru version, we will do some changes in order to fix this issue.

I uploaded an MP3 audio to one of the text I added to the course. Everything works fine, including the audio, except that the audio continues to play over and over again. How can I make it stop when it reach the end of the article?

My iPhone converts audio into MP4. I have to find a converter to make it MP3. Is there anyway to accept MP4 as audio?

This thread is bit old and there are different new version released after it. Kindly open a new thread for your topic including the complete details, error screenshot and site login in Edit fields options. So we can assist you better.
