samlatif Hi Can you share the Page URL and the Menu type on which you want to link intro images? Like Feature Article Or Category blog, I will suggest changes accordingly.

.image-wrap .item-image > a { position: relative; }
Save file, Clear browser and Joomla cache to see the changes.
