Update to T3 System Plugin 2.7.4 = Frontend edit icon in JCE disappears

I have a Joomla site created with the T3 Blank Template. Joomla version is 9.3.6

It's possible for logged in users with certain access levels, to edit articles in the frontend (JCE editor). When these users log in, an edit button (in my case a little arrow) is shown on the top right of the article title. This edit button shows in blog layout and article layout.

However, when I update the T3 system plugin from v2.7.3 to v2.7.4, the edit button didappears in blog layout. The button still shows with articles that have a readmore link, after clicking "readmore" - but since not all articles have got readmore-links, some articles can't be edited from the fronend any more.

Can someone help me please? Thanks in advance.

Is this error also showed if you set as your default template protostar core joomla and not joomlart template?

Hi Pavit, thank you.
When I install Protostar template, the "edit" button in the frontend shows like it should.
What does this mean for my problem now?

Can you updated T3 and check again ?
Please use latest version of Template, i noticed your site using custom template.
We do not provide support for renamed custom templates.

Turn on the Legacy support from template options as well : http://prntscr.com/nnvcxj

When you have "Legacy Compatible" option turned off you must add the following rules to your local/less/template.less file in order to allow the editing button to appear:

background:#000 !important;
}
.icon-edit:before {
content: 'edit';
color:#fff;
}

There is no need to add custom code, as T3 support Legacy for BS2 version.
