Overlap issue with JA Aiga

I have created an article (home) that is set to show on the front page of the website. The top of the page however presents lower than I expected and seems to overlap with the footer. Thoughts on what is causing this would be appreciated.

thanx that solved the footer problem. I did have a typo in the domain name (should be .net).

Any thoughts on extra spacing at the top of the page, there is no space at the top in the article itself

Try add this to custom.css file -

.t3-mainbody{padding-top: 0 !important;}

Kindly ensure to clear your browser cache if changes dont reflect.
