E-commerce template, can you make only catalog?

I need to develop a site of the type of electronic commerce on some of the templates that you offer me.
But my client for now only wants to show the products (similar to a catalog of products with prices) but does not want to still bill online. That is, he wants the client to select the products and place the order for them, but without making an online billing.
That's possible? I understand that there is a way to present catalog products and request them, I am not familiar with electronic commerce systems, so I ask them, to know if I can then configure it correctly. (sorry for my bad English)

Is there a particular template you are interested in?

i understand both Virtuemart and Hikashop have catalog modes

But this removes the ability to complete purchases / orders so this sounds like this would not be suitable

I'm interested in any (the most modern) Virtuemart, Hikashop or Osscommerce templates on your list.
Ok, I understand that they have the option of catalog, I just wanted to know if you can make a configuration in which the customer can make a selection of products and make a request for them without having to go through the payment module and finish the procedure making the request to the company (web page) of those products.

There is a collect on delivery but I don't think that will fit your needs
