Template was not developed to have a position badge like ja autoshop, so if you want to have such position then you have to modify the vm pages, the position available for VM as the one you showed, are the VM Positions used for this specific template. so answer to your question is yes it is a VM position specific for this template and you can add there badges to be showed.
