Hi,
I (and everyone in germany and europe too, i think) need to be able to disable loading google fonts from google in JaBuilder. Please implement such a function and tell me how i can remove it manually untill then.
GDPR / DSGVO JA Builder remove Google fonts
Hello, I need a solution for this.
In the your templates you can specify the target file here -> assets.xml file located in templates/template_folder/etc
But where can I change this manually if I only use JA builder? In which file can I change that?
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Permanent+Marker|Lato:regular,italic,700,700italic,900,900italic" />
I would like to install the google fonts locally on my own server.
Many thanks,
best regards, Joe
Hi Joe,
JA Builder is totally different from other templates of JoomlArt so it doesn't load the font via that file. It's loaded from the tool. We are working on new builder for Joomla 4 and it works independent unlike the current builder and can be initiated from any part of Joomla where the editor is loaded. And you can load font locally.
Pls stay tuned.
Is there any solution or workaround for this problem? I need to disable my website if i cannot prevent the loading of google fonts directly from google.
thanks in advance
Markus
Hi Markus,
I'm working with our developer to find solution on this and will keep you posted.
here we have the same problem, after an update, there are google fonts loaded again
<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/icon?family=Material+Icons" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
what can we do?
Let me check with team and will get back to you.
aaand?
JA Builder is a bit special, it will require to update from the tool in server, I will update here when having news from team. We appreciate your patience on this.
Hi
We implements a component called JA Fonts to help you store the Google fonts locally.
Kindly check.
Sounds nice, but i can't download it

It will require JAEC subscription or Developer / Ultimate Developer in order to download
I installed into your site already, kindly check.
oh, ok, so we have to pay more then 200 $ to get a plugin that is needed to use our websites?
its still a problem with the website, but i think thats on google recaptcha?
