This is the home page and the default page.

I get the 404 error message...

Please tell me how to make the "home" page and the "default" page the main page.

      The homepage is also JomSocial frontpage, If you have still this issue, you can share the steps to replicate this issue on your site and site credentials as requested by Pavit in last post.

        when a person registers and then logs in, it should take them to the JomSocial home page, but it seems to log them in but i get the following message
        and I cant access the jomsocial area.

            The issue related with your server, with MySQL PDO.
            You can try this : Go Joomla backend > system > global configuration > server
            please changing MySQL PDO to MySQLi .
