Could you grant the super admin permission for provided account also? I tried to test the default contact form to see whether the email function on your site work or not but it seems the contact form is set to use captcha but captcha plugins are not enabled.

saguaros As per JA's instructions only the Content - CAPTCHA plugin is enabled. I granted super user access to the account.

Because of ongoing problems getting support on this issue, I disabled all IP-based blocking on the site back on June 30th. There is nothing on the server blocking traffic based on IP addresses.
Please try again after clearing your browser's cache.

It looks like you customized this module in template, could you check the FTP account again?

I got this error when trying to access with Filezilla:

Command:	PASS *************
Response: 	530 Login authentication failed
Error:        	Critical error: Could not connect to server

I updated the credentials above after validating them in Filezilla. Give it a try now.

This template also overrides this contact module, could you update the latest version for template first? it will fix the issue.

Updated the latest template and tried sending an email. Looks like it worked!

Out of curiosity, why is a template (which should be colors, fonts, and layout) have an impact on the functionality of a module? Doesn't that violate Joomla's whole MVC approach?

As I mentioned above, this template override module so of course, it will have affect on module.

Were there any other changes that you made behind the scenes? I have the same issue on several other websites and I've tried updated to the latest version of the plugin and the latest version of the template but I'm still getting the CAPTCHA_SPAMER error message on those sites.

Could you share the credentials of one of those sites (admin + FTP account)? I will try to check for you.

No, thank you. My AstronomySyndicate.com account was suspended after I unrestricted access from outside the U.S. I can't go through that with any of my other sites.

They are all pretty much set up the same way... just different content and UI styling.

Just make sure you have latest version for template and extension, it should work.

I'm working on the same issue with another one of my websites, Qedoshim.com. I have installed the latest template and the latest version of the extension but I'm still getting a CAPTCHA_SPAMER error message. [side note: doesn't the constant CAPTCHA_SPAMER displaying on the page mean that there isn't a proper value configured in the en_GB language?] I have both the CAPTCHA - reCAPTCHA and Content - CAPTCHA plugins enabled. Should I have one vs the other enabled?
