Columns wont end div, cramp more articles into 1 column

Dear Joomlart Team,

on my site, I want to introduce my visitors on the startpage to a collection of the latest articles.
In the form of 1 leading article, a sidebar and the following articles in 2 columns.
It is similar to the Demo-Site of the Template, in the Simple-Preset!

Now, when I choose the menu item for the startpage as a category blog or an featured articles site, the leading paragraph is fine,
but the 2 columns below are not showing correctly:

after the 2nd row the articles are being put into on column, instead of spreading them on two columns.
I've checked some template files, but they all are identical with those from the quickinstall.

hope you can replicate the bug, and I hope for a solution.

Hi Christian,

The problem seems come from this article 'Ausbildung zum Commoning-Gestalter'

I disabled it and the homepage shows correctly now.

thanks for trying it, it really works!
Now, do you know, what the problem can be?
I tried to add text and a preview image, and the problem continues.

Also, when I choose another article, the problem prevails!
what can be the underlying cause of it?

Could you share the ftp account of your site also?

Hello,
no, I am unsure about sharing it. I do not want my Internet Service Provider to have something to do with this.
Can you look at the template files through the backend? you can make overrides for every file.
Or is there another reason why you would need ftp?

I know, it is a free template. and I'm sure, there is tons of other problems to be solved.
Hopefully we can bring it to work, I would really like to use the template.
