Jomsocial 4.7.2 not installing jomsocial menu items

using gavick's music state quickstart. upon installing jomsocial 4.7.2, I noticed that the menu items within the jomsocial menu are not installed. then when I TRIED TO SET THE FTP SERVRR INFO IN GLOBAL SETTINGS, the site crashed.

coalitionguy Hi. Global settings are part of joomla, not our products, so You should report this issue on joomla forum.

I cannot see a menu item in Your menu pointing to Jomsocial. This may be the problem. Please add it and select a type Frontpage from options.
