I just upgraded to 4.2.2 after testing on another site - I was using DT Register 4.0.9 for my sites because of previous issues with the updates.
This version seems to have resolved all the issues I could discern - but I didn't anticipate this:
I needed to create a checkbox field for an event with four options. I added the field and positioned it where I wanted it in the order on the Fields list page in Administrator.
I went to activate the field for the event, but it's appearing at the top of the list of fields - above the name fields!
I cannot figure out any way to force the checkbox field into the correct position - it's positioned correctly in the order of fields in the Fields list, but on the event it's right at the top and I can't move it.
Please advise - I've done a lot of work on the event setup and content and would hate to have to restore the backup, and have the 4.0.9 process again - the improvements you've made in the process are significant and I'm eager to provide them to my clients after all this time holding out for major bugs to be resolved.
I have not provided FTP - I would rather you did not simply edit code on one site to fix this because I have almost two dozen other sites to update. If there has to be a code fix, please provide a patch file that all your clients can use to resolve this issue if they encounter it.
