JA Admin - user selection field not working

Hello,

I am using JA Admin template for my Joomla website and user field (user selection) is not working in JA Admin template. It works if I switched the template to isis.

bashibosh Hi. Can You please tell me which user selection You have in mind exactly? I've just checked User manager and see no problem there. An url to the page where this problem is visible would be really helpful.

Hello Teitbite,

Thanks for the quick response. If you go to articles, edit or new article -> Publishing section then click on 'Created By' field. It dosesn't work.

If I switch template then it works.

Hi.

That because JA Admin need update to match with latest version of joomla.

You could try this.

Copy the file from
/administrator/templates/isis/html/layouts/joomla/form/field/user.php
/administrator/templates/isis/html/layouts/joomla/form/field/media.php

To Overwrite
/administrator/templates/ja_admin/html/layouts/joomla/form/field/user.php
/administrator/templates/ja_admin/html/layouts/joomla/form/field/media.php

You should backup first.
Will update in the next version.
