this space is not the one you mentioned to remove, it the part of content, add this code in template.css file first line

.jub-block.features-10 .features-intro .jub-media .feature-bot-left, .jub-block.features-10 .features-intro .jub-media .feature-bot-right {display:none;}

Please remove the code you added now, and use only this
