For weeks now I have been unable to update my website built on JA Builder. When I hit "Publish" the spinner spins forever but it never reads that the page has been updated. I am in a really tough situation because I'm trying to work around caretaking my dying father and the frustration of trying to do work and not being able to is very frustrating. Can someone PLEASE help? I am up to date on Joomla, JomSocial and JA Builder.

Some extensions such as: Adblock, ABP, Adblock plus … block the operation of JA Builder, if your browser is using one of these add-ons, try to temporarily disable them first and publish again.
