Hi,

You meant that after updating Joomla, all settings will be lost?

If you have backup, after updating site, you can copy files inside this folder: [root]/templates/buildr/settings/ from backup to the updated site and see how it goes.

I tried but it doesnt work my question is how can save all settings before update, you can try it this site is just a backup for trying.

I tried a lot locally and after saving new settings the font + menusettings disappears.

Whats the workflow to manage that?

Other buildr sites works without problems

thx 4 help

Could you clarify the change you made for template settings so I can replicate the same issue?

I tried to take a backup of your site > made some change via Design settings (add position, etc...) then I upgraded Joomla to latest version (from 3.8.3 to 3.9.10) but all the settings are still the same as its before the upgrade.

ok i updated the site to 3.9.10 also. It works but i can't save a new style, but a have backup from the normal xero style.

should i update the framwork or the template first?

    thx for reply

You can try to update framework, then template.

If the issue still persists, let me know.

    update the framework works

after updating the builder template with 1.4.1 the style disappears.

upload and replace config file, settings folder and custom.css with backuped files takes no effect.

    what im doing wrong

        Hi,

Thanks for the package, I can restore it and install framework + template latest versions but the style of template still works fine.

I sent you an email with the package that I worked on.

        Kindly check.

It's weird as you can see in the backup I sent, after updating, the settings are not lost. Something went wrong when you updated?

The formating disappeared before i updated to 3.9.11

          there was a sql error:

JInstaller: :Install: SQL-Fehler Duplicate entry '1' for key 'PRIMARY'
