"JA Extenstion Manager Component for J3.x" - version compatible with Joomla4 .x

Joomla 4.x is coming our way and we are beginning with the testing of current Alpha version of Joomla 4.x
Tried to install "JA Extenstion Manager Component for J3.x". Installation itself goes well, but when trying to start the JA Extension Manager component from the menu i get:

An error has occurred.
0 Call to undefined method Joomla\CMS\Filesystem\File::read()

When will there be a version available that is compatible with Joomla 4.x ?

Thanks for your report, there seems to be issue with the latest alpha version of J4, I will pass to the team for updating on this.

Joomla 4 is still in alpha version. JAEM will be updated for the Joomla 4 once there is RC or stable version released.

Can't we get rid of JAEM and have updates work through the normal Joomla Update Component? JAEM is a dinosaur needed in older Joomla versions but nowadays i feel it's only a pain in the ass having to use JAEM instead of normal Joomla Updater...

All extension are updated only JA Extension manager as its gives option to Rollback, see the changes to of new version and previous version files, and place all JA Extension under one roof. Paid extension can not be updated via Joomla update as they need membership check for each users. Joomla update only used to give notifications for updates.
