Stop image to open up an Article

Hi guys,
Need help. I have this site which I am building with Joomla page builder. I used spot light to divide content and i want to add slide show so I used slider extention in the home page. Now the problem I am facing is when I click on image then it opens up either article or if I choose slider option to display from folder then image opens up from the address when i click on it.
. Can i stop that happening?? Can I make image non click able and clickable to only to the link I specify ?

I'm not entirely sure of the issue here, could you share the credentials of your site and tell me the block you're referring to so I can take a look?

These images can be clickable

and go to
https://divineinteriors.com.au/component/content/article/8-slideshow/4-image4?Itemid=101 as an article. I would like to control this.

Comment or remove this line 681:

$image = '<a href="' . $link . '" title="" class="ja-image">' . $image . '</a>';
