Slideshow not displaying correctly

Hi,
My Slideshow on the homepage has moved to above the menu and in located above the top of the page.
This was working when i set up the module.
And for some reason it only shows featured articles no matter what settings i put in the module.
If i remove all my custom CSS code it breaks the header and footer and the slideshow does not show at all.
Can you help please.

Articles being part of your slideshow are builded with quix extension, use normal joomla com_content creation to show your articles or use a different slideshow type.
